On Thursday, November 29, members of the NeW community gathered at Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC to celebrate the release of NeW’s book She’s Conservative: Stories of Trials and Triumphs on America’s College Campuses.

Attendees heard from the President and Editor of the book Karin Lips, and authors Emily Jashinksy of the Federalist, Neetu Chandak of the Daily Caller, and The George Washington University sophomore Caroline Hakes. The women discussed their essays and their personal experiences of standing up for conservatism in their communities. Also in attendance were authors Brittany Slaughter, Sarah George, Rebecca Malone, Sophie Czerneicki, Jessica Martinez, and Amelia Irvine.
