On September 29, 2016, NeW celebrated 12 years of educating and training the next generation of women leaders for the conservative movement. NeW chapters across the country honored NeW’s Anniversary by hosting speakers, book club meetings, formal tea parties, and recruiting dessert parties.
On Thursday, September 29, featured guest Ginni Thomas, social entrepreneur and part-time special correspondent for The Daily Caller, shared advice on how to achieve professional success and make a mark in DC as part of a dinner and discussion.
Careers in the Capital: How to Achieve Professional Success and Make a Mark in DC
Ginni Thomas is a part time special correspondent for the Daily Caller News Foundation producing videos of emerging leaders and educators in the public square as an opinion journalist. Her ear is to the ground outside the Washington Beltway as a social entrepreneur who loves liberty. She nudges Washington towards founding principles.
Previously, she founded LibertyCentral.org (nonprofit for citizen activists), and has worked at The Heritage Foundation, Hillsdale College’s Washington office, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the senior levels of the legislative and executive branches of government.
She has maintained her midwestern authenticity after 30 years in Washington, D.C. while enjoying motor homing and the Nebraska Cornhuskers with her husband, Justice Clarence Thomas. Her degrees are: Business Communication & Political Science from Creighton University, and J.D. from Creighton Law School (Omaha, NE).
