WOMEN’S ORGANIZATION HOSTS BOOK CLUB WITH SENATOR JONI ERNST

WASHINGTON, DC — The Network of enlightened Women, known as NeW, is proud to announce the NeW Summer Book Club book choice and speaker for the month of July, Senator Joni Ernst from Iowa. As the first woman to serve in federal elected office from the State of Iowa and also the first female combat veteran elected to serve in the United States Senate, Senator Ernst is an inspiration to young women.

The NeW Summer Book Club will be reading her new book, Daughter of the Heartland: My Ode to the Country That Raised Me. NeW seeks to educate, equip, and empower young conservative women through book clubs, policy discussions, professional development events, and a national conference.

“We are thrilled to introduce the women of the NeW Network to the inspiring life and accomplishments of Senator Joni Ernst. NeW continues to introduce young conservative women to prominent leaders. NeW believes in providing women with the tools they need to be successful not only in college, but as they start their careers,” said Karin Lips, Founder and President of NeW.

Past NeW Book Club authors have included Ambassador Nikki Haley, Heidi Ganahl, Carrie Severino, Mona Charen, and Carrie Lukas.

For media interested in attending the off-the-record NeW Summer Book Club meeting with Senator Joni Ernst on Monday, July 27, please contact Kathryn Alford at kathryn@enlightenedwomen.org or 571-310-5388.
