This March, our NeW Ambassadors are celebrating Women’s History Month by telling us about the conservative women who inspire them from the past or present day. Our Ambassadors Virginia King and Anna Young told us why Karoline Leavitt inspires them.

Anna Young

Although many conservative women have inspired me by their determination and dedication to their beliefs, one woman has stood out to me in recent months. Karoline Leavitt is the current White House press secretary and the youngest White House press secretary in history, only 27 years old. She consistently shows her intelligence and skill, effectively and gracefully answering tricky questions and handling press conferences.

Karoline Leavitt is an inspiration to me as a conservative college student because she demonstrates that I should not let my age or gender intimidate me when in an environment that is often male dominated. She stands firm for what is right. As a young wife, mother, and conservative, she truly exemplifies the modern conservative woman’s American dream.

In a world where conservative voices—especially those of young women—are often dismissed, Karoline Leavitt is a fearless example of leadership and resilience. As a Gen Z conservative woman aspiring to enter communications, Karoline encourages me with her achievements, unapologetic values, persuasiveness, and effectiveness as a communicator.

Her leadership extends beyond the media landscape. At just 25, Karoline ran for Congress, proving that age is no barrier to leadership. Her willingness to challenge the political establishment demonstrates to the rest of Gen-Z that young voices deserve a seat at the table.

Karoline’s rapidly rising career in communications makes her even more inspiring to me. As the youngest person to serve as White House press secretary at 27, she understands the power of effective communication when advocating for conservative values. In an era where the mainstream liberal narrative often silences conservative perspectives, Karoline’s success encourages me that standing boldly in your views despite backlash pays off.

Beyond her professional success, Karoline empowers young conservative women to know they can pursue and excel in multiple aspects of life. Karoline was pregnant and gave birth to her son while serving as the national press secretary for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, demonstrating that motherhood and a thriving career are not mutually exclusive.

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we must recognize modern trailblazers in the conservative movement like Karoline Leavitt. She proves that being young and conservative is an opportunity, not a disadvantage. Karoline’s journey inspires me to continue boldly into my future.
