Meet Sophia Fried, President of NeW at University of Arizona.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I loved participating in the NeW Leadership Retreat over the summer because it helped me to connect with other women from across the country and learn valuable skills that I took with me into the 2022-2023 school year.

What are your plans after graduation?
Join the workforce, hopefully for a conservative or christian organization.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Don’t be afraid to let your voice be heard! It’s empowering to have your voice heard on campus.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has helped me become a leader on campus and improved my leadership abilities outside of school.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because it helped me find a group of women on campus that I relate to and have become my closest friends.
