Senior Spotlight: Samantha Feigelson, NeW at Boston University

This May, we continue to highlight some of our exceptional seniors and celebrate their graduation. Meet Samantha Feigelson, President of NeW at Boston University. This summer, Samantha will be moving to work in Washington, DC and hopes to eventually attend Law School.

What was one of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
Celebrating NeW’s 16th Anniversary with eight conservative women from Boston University was like a fairy tale, due to our school’s highly liberal environment. Knowing women were comfortable and confident enough engaging with us in public, instead of behind a computer screen, validates that as an organization, we are positively impacting women’s lives.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Be true to yourself. I believe political identity is based off of one’s morals. If you compromise yourself politically in order to gain friends, you will end up losing yourself.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has impacted me in every way, shape, and form. It has given me life-long friends and family. It had showed me that I am never alone.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW has changed my life for the better. I have never met such amazing, beautiful, diverse and intelligent women. It has shown me what it means to be a strong conservative woman, and for that, I am forever grateful.
