Congratulations to our graduating seniors, and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Olivia Butz, treasurer of NeW at Xavier University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?

I have attended multiple club meetings this year. My favorite was our meeting where we made smores and talked about politics. I also helped with club day tabling. I enjoyed this because we got to tell a lot of incoming freshmen about our awesome organization.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to start my career full time at Clark Schaefer Hackett and study for my CPA Exam. I also hope to help with local conservative campaigns when the opportunities arise.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?

I would tell young conservative women starting college to stay strong in her values. It can feel like everyone is against you, but there are plenty of women that are just like us!

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?

NeW has allowed me to grow as a young conservative woman. I was exposed to so many opportunities that I would not have known about otherwise. I have learned how to stand strong in my beliefs and I think this will be extremely helpful in my future endeavors.

Why is NeW important to you?

NeW gave me a place to talk freely with other women that were a lot like me! It also helped me to expand my social network and meet new people across the country. I know that I will always have a strong group of women behind me with NeW!

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Olivia. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
