Senior Spotlight: Madison Gallimore, NeW at UNC Charlotte

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Madison Gallimore, a member of NeW at UNC Charlotte.

What are your plans after graduation?
I have applied to Clinical Psychology PhD programs and had interviews, but am still waiting to hear back about being accepted.

What is one thing you have gained from NeW?
I have gained the confidence to speak up about my views.

What is your favorite part or memory of NeW?
My favorite part about NeW is how accepting everyone is. My favorite memory was at my first meetig where we had a casual conversation at Chick-Fil-A about current events and policies. It was the first time that I felt like I could get other perspectives while also speaking my thoughts without getting judged.

What is one piece of advice you would give to conservative women starting college?
Find a group of people who are similar enough in their views to get along, but different enough to expand your perspective! NeW is a great way to do that!

The Network of enlightened Women provides amazing opportunities for young Conservative females. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus here and help others learn about what NeW stands for!
