How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has helped me prepare for my next steps because I have learned more about myself and how to better communicate, be responsible, and other important skills. These will be critical when going forward professionally in my career.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
I would tell any conservative woman starting college to stay true to themselves. While that might sound cliche, when I first started college, no one around me thought the same way I did and I began questioning myself. I would wonder if the way I felt about certain topics in society was outrageous since no one felt the same as me. However, when I discovered NeW, I realized that other people do think similar to me. It is important to continue to stay true to yourself, this way there is no need to question your beliefs.
