Congratulations to our graduating seniors, and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Hailey Thomas, President of NeW at James Madison University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?

I’ve enjoyed serving in as both Recruitment Chair and then President of NeW at JMU! It is so great to meet other likeminded women that are going through the same experiences you are!

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to move up to Northern Virginia and pursue a career in the field of Communication Studies.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?

Be unapologetically yourself!

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?

I think that NeW has not only helped me become more confident in sharing my conservative ideas, but has also helped me become more confident in myself as a person.

Why is NeW important to you?

NeW is important to me because everyone deserves to feel like they belong, NeW gave me that at my school!

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Hailey. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
