Meet Catharine Matticola, Communications Director of NeW at Seton Hall University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
Our Sean Hannity live studio audience trip in NYC was such a cool, once in a lifetime experience to see some of the most pragmatic thinkers of our country in one room.

What are your plans after graduation?
To continue my studies at Seton Hall as a graduate student and obtain my MBA!

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Find your people and don’t waiver on your values to do so–there always there, they just aren’t as vocal as other students.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
It has given me a place to speak my mind and refine my perspective so that I can be an advocate for the conservative women of this generation.

Why is NeW important to you?
It gave me the courage to articulate my values and opinions even in a room full of opposition.
