As the academic year is coming to a close, NeW wants to take some time to recognize our members who are graduating this semester to thank them for their hard work and dedication to our organization. This spotlight is highlighting Alexandra Patten from the University of Missouri.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be attending Veterinary School at Western University of Health Sciences.
What is one thing you have gained from NeW?
I have gained friends, leadership skills and knowledge on a diverse set of topics.
What is your favorite part or memory of NeW?
My favorite part of NeW is it allowing me to meet like-minded women and build friendships.
What is one piece of advice you would give to conservative women starting college?
Be open to other people’s beliefs and befriend them, but also find friends that share your beliefs.
