NeW at the University of Vermont thanked U.S. military and other service members for their commitment to our country by writing letters on October 14, 2021 as part of NeW’s ConSERVative programming.
Chapter members gathered for a “Thanks a Million” event in which they sent heartfelt messages of gratitude to those in uniform. Each woman wrote 4-5 letters, and as a group they wrote more than 50 from just those who attended, plus more from members who could not make it in person. The attendees thought it was a great way to honor those who sacrifice for the nation. (https://www.cantravelwilltravel.com)
“I got so emotional writing these letters, and I just want them to understand how appreciated they are!” attendee Austin said after the event.
