NeW at University of Vermont Discusses Conservatism on Campus at Ice Cream Social

NeW at the University of Vermont followed a successful activity fest, where they recruited new members to the chapter, with an ice cream social on September 26, 2021.

Eight members met potential recruits, ate ice cream, and discussed how to keep conservatism alive on a very liberal college campus. The women also talked about the NeW Leadership Retreat and promoted the chapter’s semester events. Attendees felt grateful for the opportunity to bond with like-minded women and left the event excited for the school year.

“[NeW at UVM] is not only a safe place to voice your conservative opinions on campus, but it is a chance to cultivate your opinions and grow as an individual,” said Alex Amsden, chapter vice president.
