NeW at University of Tampa Reunites at Ice Cream Social to Mark Start of School Year

NeW at the University of Tampa got the school year off to a sweet start by reconnecting at an ice cream social on September 7, 2021.

The social was the chapter’s first event of the year, and all new members attended. The women mingled over ice cream and learned more about what the chapter has in store for the school year. Members also set up a display of NeW stickers, pens, and buttons for the attendees to take with them.

“I felt that we had a great turnout for the first event of the semester and that the social allowed for a causal atmosphere for the women to get to know each other,” said Lacey Keene, chapter treasurer.
