NeW at the University of Iowa Enjoys an Empowering Evening with Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks

NeW at the University of Iowa teamed up with the school’s College Republicans chapter to co-host a virtual meeting with Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) on February 23, 2021.

Around 30 attendees enjoyed conversing with Miller-Meeks via Zoom about policy in Iowa, what life is like as a congresswoman, and freedom in the United States. Students got to ask her questions, learning more about her stances on various issues and what she plans to do as a representative of the state of Iowa.

“Miller-Meeks is the perfect example of how courageous and powerful conservative women can be,” said Mackenzie Jones, Vice President of NeW at the University of Iowa.
