NeW at Grand Canyon University commemorated Veterans Day this year by writing letters to former and retired service members on November 10, 2021.

The chapter decided to honor the occasion and to thank veterans for their service by writing them heartfelt letters. The seven ladies in attendance wrote 21 notes total and sent them in the mail that night.

The women felt good expressing their gratitude and were able to discuss among themselves the importance of America’s armed forces and its members.

This ConSERVative event, not only encouraged the women to reflect on the importance of the holiday, but also gave them an opportunity to serve their local heroes in a small way.
