NeW at Catholic University Spreads Word About Chapter with ‘Conservatives and Cupcakes’ Event

NeW at Catholic University promoted the chapter during a “conservatives and cupcakes” event on September 13, 2021.

The chapter ordered delicious cupcakes from the local Georgetown Cupcakes shop and invited members and potential recruits to gather for the first event of the school year. The 60 women in attendance got to know each other while enjoying their yummy treats and learning about the NeW chapter on campus and what’s in store for the semester.

“We are so thrilled by the huge turnout of our first event of the year!” Raegan Lehman, chapter vice president, said. “It certainly surpassed our expectations. I’m sure that part of why it was so successful is because, as we come out of the pandemic, women on our campus are so eager to meet new friends and grow in the community.”
