NeW at American University Kicks off School Year with Welcome Back Brunch

NeW at American University caught up after time apart at a “Welcome Back Brunch” to start the school year on August 28, 2021.

Fourteen members gathered at Millie’s in Washington, DC, where they spent quality time together and expressed appreciation for each other and their chapter. After communicating over Zoom during the summer and coronavirus pandemic, the women were happy to have the opportunity to reconnect face-to-face.

“This brunch with members of NeW at AU was an excellent way to transition from connecting with each other over Zoom to finally being back in an in-person setting. Our members got the opportunity to know one another in an informal, laid-back environment which was extremely important for building community within our chapter,” said Abby Daniels, chapter president.
