Member Spotlight: Delaney Jennings, NeW at Belmont University

Meet Delaney Jennings, member of NeW at Belmont University.

How did you first hear about NeW?
On Instagram.

Why is having a NeW chapter on campus so important to you?
NeW has brought me so many new friends with whom I share common ideas.

What has been your favorite memory or event with NeW?
Recently we had a brunch with pro-life advocate Victoria Robinson, and it was really inspiring. It also gave me a chance to get to know some of the chapter’s women better.

Why is NeW important?
NeW is important because it’s hard to show conservative beliefs nowadays, and many people that I know do share the same beliefs as me. NeW has allowed me to make lasting friendships with women that I can be completely myself around.

What advice would you give other conservative women on campus?
Don’t be afraid of what you believe. There is always going to be someone who doesn’t like what you have to say. But always be yourself, and you’ll find those who want to be your friend for being exactly how you are.
