Meet Congresswoman Elise Stefanik at the NeW National Conference

Attendees at this year’s National Conference in Washington, DC will have the opportunity to hear from Congresswoman Elise Stefanik*, who has extensive experience with the inner workings of our federal government. Congresswoman Stefanik is currently serving a third term as the representative of New York’s 21st District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She remains the youngest Republican woman ever elected to Congress. Congresswoman Stefanik is actively involved in several House Committees including the Armed Services Committee, the Committee on Education and the Workforce, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. She has also dedicated time to deepening the connection between young conservatives and politics, serving as the Chair of the House Republican Policy Committee’s Millennial Task Force.  

Since her election, Congresswoman Stefanik has led the effort in Congress to encourage women to run for office. During the 115th Congress, she served as the Recruitment Chair for the National Republican Congressional Committee. Currently, Congresswoman Stefanik runs E-PAC, a political action committee dedicated to supporting women running for elected office.
