Leader Spotlight: Emma Daman, NeW at Abilene Christian University

Meet Emma Daman, Communications Director of NeW at Abilene Christian University.

Why is having a NeW chapter on campus so important to you?
It allows conservative women on our campus to have a place to come and be with other conservative women which is sometimes a hard thing to find.

What has been your favorite memory or event with NeW?
One Saturday we all went to brunch together and just talked and had fun. It was a great time to get to know each other better!

Why is NeW important?
NeW not only allows conservative women to come together, they also gives us the resources to reach out to other women that might not know where they stand politically. NeW also gives us so many resources and perks that can help us further in whatever career we choose to pursue.

What advice would you give other conservative women on campus?
Don’t be shy or nervous about voicing your opinions. Most of the time there are more people around you who think like you than you think.
