Wesley Vaun Power,
My Gentleman because not only does he open doors and treat me with the utmost respect, he is a true devoted patriot. Originally from the State of California, Wes currently serves in the United States Marine Corps and is stationed in Washington D.C.
Not only does he deserve to be NeW’s Gentleman of the Year but he would also make quite the First Gentleman of the United States when I seek out the White House around the year 2040.
Wes is Humble and Kind, he never gives up, he is honest and loyal, he is dedicated, he loves his family and God above all, he is willing to die for his country and the ones he loves, he is patient, he is principled, he is wise above his years, he builds himself from the ground up, he has integrity, he lights up every room he enters, he is the best friend you could ever ask for, and he understands that his life is about service to others, not serving himself.
I am truly thankful to have Wes in my life, he supports my ambitions and motivates me to the best version of myself.
Here at NeW, we want to honor men of these outstanding qualities; the world would be a better place if we had more men like him.
His Charity of Choice is the Wounded Warrior Project which serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.
