Michael and I got to know each other in law school, and he became like the brother I never had. He has been always willing to listen; always willing to talk through any life issues; and always willing to be there for a friend. Michael is fiercely loyal to those close to him and will defend them when needed. He is also heavily involved in volunteer initiatives in the Jewish community and dedicates himself to helping with religious events, such as Purim. He regularly volunteers for no-kill animal shelters as well.
Above all else, Michael is humble about his volunteer activities and his chivalry–as if they are a given. For him, being a gentleman is a natural part of who he is, and he is not self-righteous, boastful, or deliberate about it. This is why Michael is a gentleman in the truest sense and makes a great candidate for NeW’s Gentlemen’s Showcase.
