Chapter Leader Spotlight: Michaela Hebbeler, NeW at Catholic University

Meet Michaela Hebbeler, a senior at The Catholic University of America and Treasurer for her NeW chapter on campus. Michaela originally grew up in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, but chose to attend college in Washington, DC to pursue her dream of going into political communications.

Michaela will be taking over the NeW Instagram on Wednesday, September 25 to give a behind the scenes look at her life on campus and take viewers to NeW at Catholic’s Macarons and Mocktails event. Be sure to tune in!

How has NeW impacted your college experience?
NeW has provided me with an amazing group of women who empower and support me. Through NeW, I have became more confident and well-informed on conservative ideas and have learned skills that will help me be successful as a woman in politics.

What is your favorite memory from NeW?
My favorite memory was the Leadership Retreat in Atlanta this summer. It was amazing to connect with girls from chapters all across the country and see how big our community really is. Hearing from our President, Karin, and many other influential, strong conservative women was an incredible experience.

What advice would you give other conservative women on campus?
Join NeW! If your school doesn’t have a chapter, start one! Conservative women are an underrepresented group, especially in college, and NeW helps give you a voice while connecting you with like-minded, fabulous women!
