Born and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Angelise now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two active toddlers (ages 2 and 4). After majoring in journalism at Patrick Henry College, she interned with Prison Fellowship’s Breakpoint and then worked as Executive Assistant for Star Parker at the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, an organization that addresses issues of race and poverty with principles of freedom and personal responsibility. She then spent 3 years running the Heritage Foundation’s internship program as the Program Associate for the Young Leaders Program. After 7 years in Washington, DC, she welcomed her first little girl and became the Events Manager for the Network of Enlightened Women (NeW).

Her current full time job is raising two kids to love life and be kind. In her spare time, she writes for her blog — Wholistic Ho’ōla (The Wholistic Life) — with guest interviews from authors and influencers from around the world, contributes to She Leads Daily magazine, and volunteers with various groups in Northern Virginia. Her passion is community building and helping women tap into their God given identities so they can be activated and unleashed into their communities.
