Katie Pavlich is the host of NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich Tonight, airing weeknights at 10 pm. She previously spent 16 years as editor and contributing editor for Townhall.com and Townhall Magazine, and for more than a decade served as a contributor at Fox News, where she regularly participated in major special event coverage and appeared as a rotating guest host on The Five, Fox News Primetime, The Ingraham Angle, Hannity, and Fox & Friends. She also hosted documentaries and series programming for Fox Nation.
As a reporter, Katie has covered presidential and congressional elections, the White House, the Department of Justice, border security, the Second Amendment, and international conflicts, including Hamas’ wars against Israel. She has traveled internationally with delegations of journalists and the U.S. State Department, interviewed President Donald Trump at the White House in 2020, and in 2025 covered President Trump from the White House press pool and aboard Air Force One during trips to NATO, the United Nations, and the Middle East. She is also a former columnist for The Hill and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Katie is the award-winning author of Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Cover-Up and Assault and Flattery: The Truth About the Left and Their War on Women. She has hosted documentary and lifestyle programming including Safe Haven: Gun Free Zones in America and Luxury Hunting Lodges of America, and has appeared in media projects ranging from the History Channel’s America’s Book of Secrets to a cameo in the first season of The Terminal List.
A graduate of The University of Arizona with a degree in broadcast journalism, Katie has completed fellowships with the National Review Institute, the Foreign Policy Initiative, and the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. She is a member of the White House Correspondents’ Association and serves on the board of the National Journalism Center, a project of Young America’s Foundation. Raised in northern Arizona, Katie enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her dog, Gadsden.
