Meet Devon Vogeley, member of NeW at Radford University.
What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I liked the Riley Gaines speaker event and the rock painting event.
What are your plans after graduation?
Graduate school at RU for my Masters in Social Work.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
You are not the only conservative woman in the room, so take heart that you are not alone.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW gave me a space to be surrounded by likeminded women and gave me a space to converse and educate myself.
Why is NeW important to you?
Because I feel as though my views in the past couple of years have only grown to be more confident and I think that’s because of the community I found through NeW.
