How did you hear about the 2022 Lead Like a Lady Essay Contest and why did you choose to participate in it?
I found the 2022 Lead Like a Lady Essay Contest on a scholarship website, but what drew me to apply and participate was the premise of empowering women.
What was your favorite part about writing this essay?
My favorite part about writing this essay was getting to reflect on the women and experiences that have shaped me to be who I am today. It was a very reflective process and I hope that my story will inspire others.
Why is NeW important?
I think NeW is an important organization because of its fundamental values and its mission to empower women. I think it inspires women to lead in their community and beyond.
