In a time in American society when many people are having a tough time defining terms like “man” or “woman”, the Network of enlightened Women is choosing to recognize and celebrate gentlemen across the country through the 16th annual Gentlemen Showcase. This Showcase highlights men who exemplify the qualities of service, respect, and kindness. We are pleased to announce our 2025 winner and runner-up.
 

Our 2025 Gentleman of the Year is Taylor Van Emmerik from Indiana University.
“The Gentlemen Showcase shines a light on men who choose integrity, civility, and service over the noise of the world. By honoring quiet strength and respectful leadership, it helps shape a culture where character and service are celebrated, not overlooked,” said Van Emmerik. 

Our 2025 Honorable Mention is Noah Holt from North Carolina State University.
In a world where it’s easy to take cheap shots and chase attention, a gentleman shows he’s steady by staying respectful. He can disagree without being rude, listen before he reacts, and focus on solving the problem instead of trying to be “right,” said Holt. 

We applaud gentlemen like Taylor and Noah for standing up for their values. Thank you to everyone who nominated a gentleman in their lives for the 2026 Gentlemen Showcase.
