Senior Spotlight: Makenzie Binford, Indiana University

Meet Makenzie Binford, former President of NeW at Indiana University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I loved getting to meet a federal tax judge with NeW as well as attending our Galentine’s Day event.

What are your plans after graduation?
I’m not sure yet.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Find friends who are open and accepting of diverse points of views.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has taught me interpersonal skills, recruiting skills, management, networking, and more! NeW has given me a lot of experience that I can use in a career.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because it a place where I can find friends with the same values as me!
