Senior Spotlight: Jaycee Tyler

Congratulations to our graduating seniors, and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Jaycee Tyler, President of NeW at Texas Tech University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?

Our shooting range event. I loved getting to practice my shooting skills with all my favorite girls! It was so awesome to empower each other in doing something not everyone was 100% comfortable with.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to continue working in non-profits.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?

Know when to say yes and when to say no! Say yes to opportunities and meet new people, but be careful who you get close to; this can make or break your college experience.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?

NeW was my first introduction to growing a network! Now, I have dozens of contacts across the nation that are both friends and resources to me. NeW is full of women in all types of fields, locations, and even life stages and that kind of community has been and will be super helpful in the future.

Why is NeW important to you?

NeW has provided me with amazing leadership opportunities! In these, I have grown as a person, a friend, and a leader. Having the encouragement of a community of conservative women in college has been key to a good college experience.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Jaycee. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
