Meet Hannah Johnson, former Secretary of NeW at University of South Carolina.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
This year I was able to participate in our self defense class and resume workshop.

What are your plans after graduation?
I’ll be traveling and enjoying the summer, and then I’ll start working as a Financial Advisor in August!

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Stay true to your values and beliefs and find a community that supports you in those and shares the same passions you have. Also, handle everything with grace and kindness!

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has given me a professional network to turn to for guidance and support and help me build confidence in what I believe in and stay true to those beliefs.

Why is NeW important to you?
It’s given me a community where I know the women around me share the same values that I share. It’s also given me a place to network and have insightful conversations about our political environment.
