Congratulations to our graduating seniors! NeW Leaders are the heart of our organization and what we do, which is why we enjoy celebrating their accomplishments.
Meet graduating senior, Emma Schambach, President of NeW at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This spring, Emma will be working as an Executive Legal Assistant at a law firm in Charlotte, NC while she completes her Masters Degree in Communications Studies.
What were two of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I loved participating in the ConSERVative Month campaign as it gave me a chance to give back to my community with a wonderful group of women! I also thought The Gentlemen Showcase was awesome because it gave the women in my chapter and me an opportunity to highlight the men on our campuses that exemplify the morals that NeW wants to promote.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Find your support group! NeW provided me with a group of women who reaffirmed my beliefs and ideologies and was absolutely influential in helping me stay on track through my college career.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your career?
NeW has provided me with a network of women who help guide and support one another on each of our life paths. Through NeW I have been equipped with new skills that have helped me in college and will continue to benefit me as I step out into my career! In addition to these skills, I have been given an opportunity to learn about policies that effects my day-to-day life and how to share my views on campus and in my community.
The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young Conservative females. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
