Congratulations to our graduating seniors, and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.
Meet Elaine Gunthorpe, President of NeW at Christendom College.
What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
My favorite events were our Selina Soule and Virginia Allen speaker events.
What are your plans after graduation?
I’m actively applying to jobs.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Join clubs and talk to people. The answer will always be no, if you don’t ask. So, ask, figure out what kinds of people you want to surround yourself with and stick with them all four years.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
Yes, NeW had made a significant impact on my overall development as a young woman. I have grown and flourished in many ways and hope to continue to grow with these skills in mind after graduation.
Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because it serves as a safe haven for young conservative women who seek a community of like-minded individuals. By being part of NeW, I am being a part of something bigger than myself.
The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Elaine. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
