This December, we are proud to highlight some of our exceptional seniors and celebrate their graduation. Meet Aliya Byars, Communications Manager of NeW at the University of Missouri. After graduating Aliya hopes to attend law school.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Stand your ground. I know that it can be hard to speak up, but your viewpoint deserves to be heard too. Find a group, like NeW, because it helps just knowing that there are others like you.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has introduced me to many more conservative women and for that I am so grateful. It makes it so much easier to be able to stand up and speak up knowing that I have wonderful women who support me.
