Senior Spotlight: Alexia Bianchi, NeW at University of South Florida

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Alexia Bianchi, vice president of NeW at the University of South Florida.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I enjoyed the Leadership Retreat in Tennessee, Opportunity Feminism Course, and connecting with other conservative women.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to obtain a PhD in clinical psychology and pursue a career as a military psychologist in the Army.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Because a majority of your peers will not be conservative, they will associate your behavior with conservatives they meet in the future. Be able to support your opinion and remain respectful.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has taught me how to make a proper argument for my opinions. This is a skill I can and will apply while furthering my studies and in the work force.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW provided me with many skills and friends who are like-minded.
