Franchetta Groves was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania and is a senior at The Catholic University of America. She is majoring in Media and Communications Studies and minoring in Politics, Theology, and Writing and Rhetoric. Groves is an active member of her university’s NeW chapter and has served on the executive board all four years of her college career.
Groves completed both the NeW Student Media Fellowship and Communications Internship with NeW in 2021 and went on to intern with The Heritage Foundation and Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. Groves was also involved with her campus pro-life group, Cardinals for Life, as well as the student newspaper. She enjoys writing and has been featured in publications such as CNN and Lone Conservative. Groves is passionate about cultivating a culture that supports intellectual diversity, which is why she is so passionate about advocating for conservative women across college campuses.
