NeW at Oakland University held a policy discussion and enjoyed pizza, salad, and drinks together on October 28, 2021.

During the event, the members ate dinner and learned more about each other. The women took turns drawing policy questions and had a large group discussion about each question. Given their variety of majors and areas of study, each member was able to contribute something unique to the conversation. One member also brought a pumpkin cookie decorating kit, which was perfect for Halloween!

“So many ladies have come up to me and said they felt alone and isolated as a young conservative on campus. In our meetings, we talk about how grateful we are for NeW!  Some ladies mentioned they were looking forward to the event all day!” Erika Head, chapter president, said.
