How did you hear about the 2023 Lead Like a Lady Essay Contest and why did you choose to participate in it?
My employer Sarah Ball sent me the scholarship information and I applied because I was very interested!
What was your favorite part about writing this essay?
My favorite part of writing this essay was the creative freedom I had to explore these issues and my beliefs surrounding gender ideology.
Why is NeW important?
NeW is an important part of my life and should be important in other women’s lives because in today’s culture it can feel as if women are being erased. The feeling of being erased is incredibly upsetting. It makes it harder to feel valued as a woman, which is why NeW is so important.
