Senior Spotlight: Shelby Cole, NeW at the University of Mississippi

Meet Shelby Cole, member of NeW at the University of Mississippi.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
We had a wonderful meeting last fall with good cookies and conversation. Our president is also always encouraging us in the best ways by setting up events such as study dates!

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I will continue pharmacy school with plans to graduate with a PharmD in 2025.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Don’t be afraid to be yourself and stand up for what you believe in!

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has given me wonderful opportunities to meet more conservative women.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because it teaches young women that it is okay to be a conservative and be proud of it.
