Meet Mikaela Grosz, member of NeW at Xavier University.
What was one of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I enjoyed attending a NeW movie night where we watched “Promising Young Women”.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be working as an executive assistant at a financial advisors company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
It’s important to join groups that have similar views as you so you can express your opinions in a free and non-judgemental environment.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has taught me that empowering other women is just as important as not holding back your political viewpoints from others who have different views than you.
Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because having a close-knit group of women who all have similar beliefs and values makes college a lot more enjoyable.
