Senior Spotlight: Maylene Renninger, NeW at Ohio State University

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Maylene Renninger, member of NeW at Ohio State University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
My favorite events were the CPAC women’s meetup because it was great to meet other college women and our chat with Madison because it was so nice to hear about what activities are planned for the upcoming year and restarting the OSU chapter!

What are your plans after graduation?
Work: Asset Management Analyst at MDH Partners in Dallas, Texas.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
I would advise a conservative woman starting college to stay true to her values and speak the truth. Liberal institutions will often try to spread false information and pressure you to act and think like everyone else. Stay true to what you know is right and treat others with respect.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has presented me with a network of amazing women and opportunities to become involved and make a difference.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important because women need a place to meet like-minded individuals and prepare for life together. Women need support systems and opportunities to advance their careers and personal lives.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Maylene. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
