Senior Spotlight: Madison Ling, NeW at Texas Tech

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Madison Ling, vice president of NeW at Texas Tech.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I enjoyed our chapter’s pumpkin trail event and Lubbock corn maze event. It was fun getting to know other members while walking the trails in a local park.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan on working in San Antonio at an elementary school. I hope to be in a K-2 class.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Joining a club like NeW is great because I was able to meet and be friends with women who have similar views and values in life. Joining an organization is a great way to meet many people and find your closest friends.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has offered many professional development tips and advice. My fellow members have encouraged and inspired me to aim high in anything I want to accomplish!

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because it gives women a chance to discuss ideas that are important to us and gather with others with similar values.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Madison. Learn how to bring a NeW chapter to your campus today!
