Meet Madeline Reagan McCarthy, member of NeW at American Univerisity.
What was one of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
The book club with Dana Perino! She was amazing and I love her confidence and how candid she was with all of us.
What are your plans after graduation?
I’ll be working at Prolegis, a tech start-up servicing staffers on Capitol Hill.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Stay true to yourself and do not be afraid to walk alone.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
I love how NeW showed me there are other young women like myself who hold conservative beliefs even on a hyper-liberal campus.
Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because I see myself in other women across the country. Young, conservative women exist, and NeW showed me that I am not alone and that my opinions are valued.
