Senior Spotlight: Kenlee Foskey, NeW at Mercer University

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Kenlee Foskey, vice president of NeW at Mercer University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
During the 2021-2022 school year, my chapter hosted Andres Guilarte to talk about the dangers of socialism. This was really beneficial to my chapter because we were able to show members as well as other students on campus the realities of what a government like this could bring. We also hosted Sophia Fisher to talk about human trafficking. I enjoyed this because I learned about meaningful ways I can help!

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I hope to pursue a career in lobbying!

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
I would tell conservative women starting college not to be afraid to speak their truth and stand up for what they believe in! At times, it can feel isolating or like your views are not welcome, but I promise that you will find your community and be proud of yourself for not backing down to cancel culture.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has given me a community of like-minded women to grow with throughout my college career. Starting my school’s chapter of NeW with my best friend has taught me how to persevere in the face of adversity and to be brave enough to advocate for what I believe in.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because it gives conservative women a community to grow and lead each other in.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Kenlee. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
