Senior Spotlight: Jordan Ney, Dickinson College

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Dickinson College, President of NeW at Dickinson College.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
The NeW leadership retreat is always my favorite event of the year because I get to connect with conservative women around the country. Not only do I get to know them personally, but I get to hear about their professional accomplishments which make me even more proud to be a conservative woman.

What are your plans after graduation?
I am working in the policy department of the Pennsylvania Senate as a research analyst before applying to law school.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
I know it can be intimidating coming into an environment that is unfriendly to your beliefs, but it is not worth hiding your true values to fit in socially. Your true friends will love you regardless of your political affiliation, and remember that there is nothing wrong with being a conservative!

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has given me the confidence to be a conservative leader on campus and has given me the recognition that proves hard work pays off. I feel like I have effectively expanded my social and professional network because of NeW and know how to better present myself as a conservative leader.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to be because it gives young conservatives the confidence to express themselves fearlessly and the networking and development tools that allow women to grow professionally.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Jordan. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
