Senior Spotlight: Grace Silicato, NeW at Colorado State University

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Grace Silicato, President of NeW at Colorado State University.

What was one of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I had a great time at the NeW Leadership Retreat.

What are your plans after graduation?
I am planning on attending graduate school at Colorado State University. My plan is to attain a master’s degree in assisted reproductive technologies and become an embryologist/andrologist.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
My advice is to stay true to your beliefs! There are a lot of people who will try to bring you down, but stay true to your values. Be open to learning and new opinions, but remember to stay true to yourself.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has brought me the most incredible friends and has provided me with a place of solace. NeW allowed me to share my political beliefs without being judged by others. It was so refreshing for me to be around like-minded women, and I am forever thankful for the confidence and friends NeW has given me.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because I believe it fosters another generation of independent, conservative women. NeW gives many young women the confidence they need to share their political beliefs in such a harsh world. I believe that NeW is the leading organization for the next generation of conservative women.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Grace. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
