Senior Spotlight: Emma Story, Boston College

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Emma Story, President of NeW at Boston College.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
Boston College Police Department (BCPD) Appreciation Week was the perfect way for our members to say thank you to our campus police for all their work keeping us safe. We also got to learn more about their daily life on the job through a speaker event. We hope this week becomes an annual tradition!

What are your plans after graduation?
I will be attending Notre Dame Law School.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Stay true to your values, even as you face pressure not to. Seek out friends who will accept you regardless of your politics–NeW is a great space to find these friends.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has connected me to a network of like-minded, empowered women who I know I can rely on even after I graduate.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because of all the ways it has allowed me to grow. This includes intellectually through book clubs and speakers, professionally through leadership development, and socially through the opportunity to meet so many other conservative women.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Emma. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
