Senior Spotlight: Elizabeth Greenop, NeW at Xavier University

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Elizabeth Greenop, NeW National liaison for NeW at Xavier University.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I attended our pro-woman is pro-life and our Cane’s and Conversation events this year. These were great events where I was able to learn more about current events and how I can continue to educate myself.

What are your plans after graduation?
I am pursuing an M.A. in theology from Notre Dame.

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Starting college as a conservative woman can seem intimidating, but there are other women out there who share your views! NeW is a wonderful place to meet these women and connect with others.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
I have learned a lot about leadership from being a part of NeW. All the women have been really supportive of each other, which creates a place where I (and others) can actively pursue our dreams.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW helped me feel more confident in myself as a young woman, particularly in leadership settings. I don’t need to silence myself to be successful.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Elizabeth. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
